Jelly Rolls are cotton fabrics, usually from a collection or color array, pre-cut into 2 1/2" strips. Each "roll" usually contains 40 strips (2 each of 20 different fabrics).
A Jelly Roll Race Quilt is a fun pattern sewing these strips into one long strip at a 45 degree angle, then folded in half and sewn together on one edge. Then cut the folded edge open and repeat the process until you have a finished quilt!
